Rated People is the UK's #1 Trade Recommendation Service. We are now 3 years old and have doubled in size every year. It's a FREE service for customers to use, and was established to help consumers find more reliable and trustworthy tradesmen through the use of ratings (much like Ebay and Trip Advisor). This service really works (we deal with 1,000s of jobs every week), and we always get great feedback from our customers after they've discovered us. We find customers tradesmen who have been rated and reviewed by previous customers. Customers start by filling in a job form of the work they want doing, we then find up to 3 tradesmen who want to quote on their job (so we do the legwork, and tradespeople contact customers, not the other way round). Customers then choose the tradesman based on their quote and the ratings the tradesman has received from previous jobs.
